We are excited to invite you to participate in the upcoming THRIVE Summit, hosted by the Southeast Missouri Food Bank and the Pemiscot County Community Accelerator Team. For the past five years, this team—made up of Cora Sanders (Faith Temple Complex), Mariann Wright (Lincoln University Extension), Scarlett Loomas (DAEOC), Natasha Goolsby (Southeast Missouri Food Bank), and Camille Peters (Southeast Missouri Food Bank)—has been working to improve economic mobility for residents in Pemiscot County.

📍 Location: in Hayti (location TBA)
📅 Date: Monday, October 20, 2025
⏰ Time: 9:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. ( set up begins at 8:15 a.m.)
The THRIVE Summit is designed to bring together a wide range of community resources in one place so that residents of Pemiscot County can easily connect with the services and support they need. To make the day meaningful and engaging for participants, we will:
Provide door prizes throughout the event. (We encourage your organization to provide an item(s) for door prizes, if possible)
Encourage attendees to visit every resource booth (participants will collect a stamp at each booth).
Provide each attendee with a food box as they exit, once their card is complete.
We have a limited number of tables available so if you are able to bring your own, that would be great!
We believe this will be a powerful way to showcase the services available in our community, while helping residents make real connections with the organizations that can support them.
We would love for your organization to host a resource booth and share the important work you do with the community. If you are interested in your organization being a part of this event, please fill out the attached Service Provider form and return to me. Once we receive your completed form we will be in contact with you to confirm space availability for your organization.
