Participants Needed for Chronic Pain Study in Older Adults

Saint Louis University (SLU) School of Medicine, Department of Family and Community Medicine is seeking participants for their Chronic Pain and Chronic Pain Treatment in Older Adults study. The purpose of the study is the better understand patients' experiences with chronic pain treatment and their perspectives on opioids.


They are looking for participants between the ages of 50-80 who use prescription opioids regularly either now or have in the past five years. Participation in the study includes completing an audio-recorded phone or Zoom interview and will receive a $50 Visa gift card. Participants will also be invited to complete a member check and review of their answers 4 weeks later and will receive a $25 Visa gift card.
