New Cardiovascular ECHO

Each year, heart disease accounts for more than 15,000 deaths in Missouri making it the leading cause of death in the state. The cardiovascular aims to be an integral part of decreasing cardiovascular disease and related health issues in our state. They have put together a team of experts to disseminate knowledge and best practices for screening, early detection, and treatment options for cardiovascular-related health issues.


Get expert cardiovascular knowledge in a virtual learning network with specialists and experts across the state. Learn about best practices and evidence-based care in areas such as:

  • Early recognition of cardiovascular disease

  • Diagnosis and selection of appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies

  • Making timely, appropriate referrals to treat cardiovascular disease


Participants in the ECHO will join in case-based learning via videoconferencing and connect with interdisciplinary teams of subject matter experts. The ECHO team seeks to empower and support health care professionals to implement interdisciplinary approaches to care.


Sessions will be held from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm CST every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. There is no cost to participating sites or individuals!


This ECHO offers free continuing education credits for qualifying professionals with collaboration, support, and ongoing learning with specialists and experts across the state.

  • Lipids Disorders

  • Heart Failure

  • Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction
