Help a Young Person Quit Vaping

There are many reasons that young people may pick up tobacco products and start using nicotine. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), about 4.7 million middle and high school students use at least one tobacco product with 1 in 20 middle school students and 1 in 5 high school students reporting that they used an e-cigarette in the past 30 days.


Vaping-related lung illnesses are on the rise, as vaping exposes young people to dangerous particles and chemicals, including nicotine. Youth Prevention Resource Center (YPRC) has put together a guide to help people quit vaping:
